Taiwan Taipei Mission

Every six weeks I'll have the opportunity to either move to a new area or remain in the same area.  The Taiwan Taipei Mission consists of the northern region of the island and the east coast.  Through divine inspiration, my mission president will assign me to the areas that I need to be and with a sister missionary companion.

Fun facts:

• Taipei 101 was formerly the world's tallest building, but is now second tallest
• Mandarin Chinese is the predominant language
• The Portuguese, who discovered Taiwan in the 16th century, named the island as "Ilha Formosa," which means Beautiful Island
• Taiwan has one of the fastest growing information technology industries
•  The official name is Republic of China
